HHP 2023 Fishing Tournament
Join the HHP Fishing Club for our second annual Plantation wide “Fishing Tournament” to be held on Saturday November 18. The tournament will start at 7:00 AM and participants must check in at the Plantation House parking lot. The weigh in will be at 1:00 PM at the Plantation House parking lot. Only lagoons listed on the HHP Fishing Club website can be fished. You can register for the tournament at the website.
The Tournament is open to all HHP residents and parent/children teams are welcome. Children under 18 must accompanied by an adult at all times. Participants will need a scale and a cell phone/camera capable of taking pictures of the fish and its weight. Each participant must sign the liability waver.
Bass
The format is two person teams with a $10.00 entry fee for each participant Combined weight of the five largest bass from each team will determine the first and second place winners. Artificial bait only and fishing is “catch and release”. Cash prizes will be awarded the day of the tournament and the amount is based on the number of participants.
Catfish, Redfish
Prizes will also be awarded for the largest catfish and redfish and live bait can be used. Participants must have a saltwater license to fish for redfish and fish can be kept if they are in the slot.
Rules
- Combined weight of the largest 5 bass will determine the first and second place winners. Cash prizes will be awarded the day of the tournament.
- Each team will need a scale and a cell phone/camera capable of taking pictures of the fish and its weight.
- Tournament will start at 7:00 AM the morning of November 18 with weigh in at 1:45 PM at the Spring Lake Pavillion.
- Only lagoons listed on the HHP Fishing Club website can be fished. Be sure and respect homeowners property by using designated lagoon accesses.
